The SeaTrac System

Payload & Sensor Integrations

Agnostic Payload and Sensor Integrations to Deliver the Data You Need

Thanks in part to its modular engineering and highly versatile platform, SeaTrac’s SP-48 USV is designed to host a wide variety of sensors, payloads and custom technologies aboard. Whether you need reliable data from cameras, sonars, AIS or even novel tools integrated aboard, the SeaTrac team will work with you to customize the configuration that works best for your mission. Our USV can support a total payload of up to 70 kg (150 lbs), drawing up to 500 W for day-long missions, or approximately 25 to 85 W for 24x7 operation (depending on desired cruise speed and available sun energy).

“Together, we demonstrated how commercially available instruments and USVs can deliver science-ready data in strong-current systems. We overcame the challenges of station-keeping, where most USVs fail, and achieved cost-effective deployment without expensive research vessels.”
